PHILADELPIA – Several members of the Lock Haven University men’s and women’s track & field team took part in the prestigious Penn Relay Carnival at the University’s of Penn’s historic Franklin Field over the last couple days.
Leading the way for The Haven was senior Chelsea Morse (Beaver Dams, N.Y./Campbell-Savona), who placed fourth in the women’s high jump with a mark of 5-6.
On the men’s side Tim Getz (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) turned in a 17th place showing in the 10K. Getz crossed the line in Philadelphia with a time of 30:58.08.
The Bald and Lady Eagles return to action next Saturday, May 2 when Lock Haven hosts the LHU qualifier.
