ITHACA, N.Y. – The Lock Haven University men’s and women’s track & field team was in action yesterday (Sunday, April 26) at the Cornell University Big Red Invitational.

Randy Sylvia (Johnstown, Pa./Richland) led the way for the Bald Eagles, as the junior took home the win in the hammer throw with a mark of 186.00.

Dan Picarella (Selinsgrove, Pa./Mount Carmel) added a third-place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 43.02.25.

A bright spot for the Lady Eagles was their 2-3-4 finish in the 400 meter dash.

Junior Megan Wolfe (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts), who was third in the 400 meter dash had a big day, as she also claimed first-place in the 400 meter hurdles.

Rookie Lauren Edelman (Elverson, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) was second in the high jump with a mark of 5-3.
