AKRON, Ohio. – Sophomore John Trumbetti (Montvale, N.J./St. Joseph Regional) of the Lock Haven University wrestling team recently took part in the University Greco & Freestyle Wrestling National Championships and turned in a very solid fifth-place showing.

The tournament was held this past weekend in Akron, Ohio.

Trumbetti, who redshirted the 2008-09 season for the Bald Eagles, competed unattached in Arkon, while turning in his very respectful fifth-place finish in the Greco Division.
