LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The No. 2 Lock Haven University softball team is set to take part in the 2009 NCAA Division II Softball National Championships, which kick off Thursday, May 21. The Lady Eagles will be looking to win their second National Championship crown in four years.
When & Where:
The NCAA D-II Softball College World Series kicks off on Thursday, May 21 in Salem, Va. at the James I. Moyer Complex. Lock Haven kicks off its tournament Thursday evening at 6 p.m. against Le Moyne College.

How they got here:
Lock Haven is currently 46-5 and is on an 18-game winning streak. Over the last 18 games LHU has outscored its opponents 115-8. LHU went 15-1 this year in the newly formed Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Central Division, capturing the regular season crown. The Lady Eagles also captured their fourth straight PSAC tournament crown. Most recently Lock Haven took down No. 11 Kutztown in the Atlantic Super Region (two games to zero twin the best-of-three series), earning its way into the National Championship
