SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Lock Haven University men’s and women’s outdoor track & field team kicked off competition today at the 2009 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Championships at San Angelo State University.

The meet kicked off today and runs until Saturday, May 23 at the LeGrand Sports Complex in San Angelo, Texas.

Leading the way today for LHU was sophomore Nick Hilton (Reading, Pa./Exeter Township), who qualified for the finals of 3K steeplechase. Hilton ran 9:21.48 in the prelims.

Lock Haven is back at it tomorrow.
