LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The 2009 Softball National Championship celebration continued in The Haven this afternoon as Lock Haven University held a block party to honor the Lady Eagles.

Several Lock Haven area dignitaries came out to show their support of the Lady Eagles amazing successes this past season as did a large number from the local community, including many young softball starts from area teams and organizations.

LHU President Keith T. Miller and LHU Athletic Director Sharon E. Taylor were both on hand, as was State Representative Mike Hanna, Lock Haven Mayor Rick Vilello and Julie Brennen, representing State Senator John Wozniak’s office.

Players and coaches from the 2009 National Championship team were on hand to sign autographs and take pictures.
