LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Head coach Kristen Selvage of the Lock Haven University lacrosse team has been named Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) South Region Coach of the Year.
The Lady Eagles capped off the 2009 season with a National Runner-up finish.
The Haven finished the season with an 18-4 overall record and claimed the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Regular season title by way of a 7-1 record in division play.
LHU had five players earn a spot on the All-American First Team including D-II Defender of the Year Kathleen Zichelli (Orange, N.J./Columbia).
In 2009, Selvage of the PSAC West Coach of the Year also coached the PSAC West Rookie and Player of the Year.
