SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) held its annual football media day today in Slippery Rock, Pa. and several members of the Lock Haven University football program were on hand to take part in the festivities, which included the release of the 2009 Preseason Coaches Western and Eastern Division polls.
The Bald Eagles were picked to finish eighth in the West.
California (Pa.) was tabbed as the top team in the Western Division followed by Edinboro University and Indiana (Pa.) University.
Bloomsburg University was picked up finish atop the Eastern Division.
2009 marks the 76th season of football for the PSAC.
Lock Haven went 0-11 overall and 0-7 in division play during the ’08 campaign, but this year should prove to be much different as LHU head coach John Klacik returns 19 starters and 27 lettermen.
