LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men’s and women’s cross country teams both picked up titles today as their own LHU Invitational.
The Bald Eagles swept the top four individual spots in the men’s race on their way to the team title.
The Haven men were first of nine teams with 17 points. Indiana (Pa.) University (91 pts.) and West Chester University (102 pts.) rounded out the top three.
On the women’s side, sophomore Lindsey Lambert’s (Howell, N.J./Howell) second-place finish helped lead the Lady Eagles to the team championship.
The Lock Haven women’s side (38 points) bested the nine-team field, including West Chester (76 pts.) and IUP (95 pts.), who rounded out the top-three squads.
The Bald Eagles were led by the 1-2-3-4 finish of Brandon Pomerantz (Holland, Pa./Council Rock North), A.J. Johnson (Coventry, R.I./Coventry), Mitch Miller (Morrisville, N.Y./Morrisville-Eaton) and Nick Hilton (Reading, Pa./Exeter).
