LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (12-4, 2-0 PSAC East) was clicking on all cylinders tonight as the Lady Eagles cruised past visiting Kutztown University 3-0 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East action.

Lock Haven won 25-19, 25-6 and 25-16.

Leading the way for LHU was freshman Xuan Gao (Dong Ying, China/Zibo No. 10 Middle School), who had a match-high 15 kills, while hitting a solid .517. She also had 15 digs.

Sophomore Haley Gribler (Powell, Ohio/Olentangy-Liberty) had eight kills and 10 digs to help pace Lock Haven’s effort.

Kim Windstein (McMurray, Pa./Peters Township) had seven kills and two blocks assists.

Fabiana Gomez (Montevideo, Uruguay/Consejo de E.S.) led LHU with 34 assists and Christina Laury (Horsham, Pa./Hatoboro-Horsham) had 21 digs.

Lock Haven will be back on the court on Friday, October 2 at 7 p.m. when the Lady Eagles travel to Shippensburg University.
