PAINESVILLE, Ohio – Two second half goals from sophomore Billy Pasukinis (Benton, Pa./Benton) proved to be the difference, as the Lock Haven University men’s soccer team (5-7-2) dropped Lake Erie College (5-8-1) 3-1 on the road today in non-conference action.
The host Storm went up 1-0 in the 18th minute when Scott Stucky converted a penalty kick.
David Qaisi (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) scored for the Bald Eagles in the 30th minute to level things at 1-1.
Pasukinis took over in the second and scored goals in the 63rd and 83rd minute to lead The Haven to the important road victory.
LHU outshot Lake Erie 14-9.
Goalkeeper Chris Custer (Aston, Pa./Sun Valley) made four stops in the win.
The Bald Eagles are back in action on Saturday (October 17) night at 7 p.m. on the road at Gannon University.
