Lewis selected for NFHCA Division I Senior All-Star game
 

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Senior Alanna Lewis (Trinidad & Tobago/Southeast Port-of-Spain) of the Lock Haven University field hockey team has been selected to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division Senior All-Start game.

Lewis is the leader of the Lady Eagles stingy defensive unit that’s given up only 16 goals all season. Lewis’s tremendous recent efforts have helped lead The Haven to seven straight shutouts.

The Senior All-Start game will be held Saturday, November 21 at 5:30 p.m. at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Lewis, who has been named Northeast Conference (NEC) Defensive Player of the Year following each of the last two seasons also has three goals and six assists this year, as she continues to be one of the Lady Eagles major on-field forces.

This year's game is scheduled to be played on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Wake Forest University (Winston-Salem, NC). Game time is 5:30 p.m.

The NFHCA is pleased to announce that the U.S. Women's National Team and its staff will be travelling to Winston-Salem, to compete against the Division I Senior All-Stars.

This year's Division I Senior All-Star Game will include four (4) 25 minute sessions. The order of these sessions will be as follows:

• Division I Senior All-Stars (Home) vs Division I Senior All-Stars (Away)

• Division I Senior All-Stars (Home) vs U.S. Women's National Team

• Division I Senior All-Stars (Away) vs U.S. Women's National Team

• Division I Senior All-Stars (Home) vs Division I Senior All-Stars (Away)
