ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – Several members of the Lock Haven University men’s and women’s cross country teams took to the course today and competed at Elizabethtown College’s Battle for the Buggy meet at Lancaster County Park.

Shawn Lake (Sayre, Pa./Sayre Area) was the Bald Eagles top finisher. He placed 43rd overall with a time of 22:08.07 on the 6,025 meter course.

Nicholas Zarzeceny (Pittsburgh, Pa./Avonworth) took 59th win a time of 23:30.00.

On the women’s side, Michele Gallen (Shillington, Pa./Governor Mifflin) was the Lady Eagles top finisher in 14th place. She clocked a 27:01.52 to lead The Haven.

Ashley Herr (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) was 38th overall with a time of 29:01.53.

Both the Bald and Lady Eagles are back in action on Saturday, October 31 when they travel to Edinboro University for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships.
