LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women’s soccer team (3-12-1, 2-9-1 PSAC West) fell to No. 21 California (Pa.) University (13-4-1, 8-3-1 PSAC West) 5-0 today at home.
Cal went up 1-0 in the 12th minute on a goal by Elizabeth Johnston and the Vulcans led 4-0 at halftime.
Prior to the kickoff today, the Lady Eagles took a moment to honor their two seniors, Courtney Johnson (Alexandria, Va./Edison) and Angela Rineer (Shillington, Pa./Governor Mifflin).
Both Johnson and Rineer went on to turn in very solid performances for The Haven today.
LHU goalkeeper Kim Bentley (Springdale, Pa./Springdale) made two saves in 90 minutes of work.
Lock Haven is back in action on Wednesday, October 28 at 4 p.m. when the Lady Eagles host Clarion University in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC).
