ERIE, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women’s soccer team (4-13-1, 3-10-1 PSAC West) lost 2-0 tonight on the road at Edinboro University (7-7-5, 5-6-3 PSAC West) in the Lady Eagles 2009 season finale.

Edinboro scored both goals in the opening half.

The Fighting Scots went up 1-0, just 47 seconds in off a goal from Karisa Fernandez.

Haley Zinn (Wyomissing, Pa./Wyomissing) made seven saves in net to help keep The Haven in the game.

Arielle Gordon (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) led Lock Haven with two shots on goal, as she looked to spark the offense tonight.

The Lady Eagles finish the 2009 season with a 4-13-1 overall record and they went 3-10-1 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action.
