LHU Soccer - Men

Men’s Soccer Picks Up Huge Win On the Road, Defeat Bloomsburg, 1-0

Ashley Rosindale scored the only goal of the contest, and his 7th on the season.

BLOOMSBURG, Pa.- The Lock Haven University Men’s soccer team (11-5, 10-4 PSAC) took another huge step in solidifying a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) berth today, as they defeated local rival Bloomsburg University (3-11-1, 3-12-2 PSAC) 1-0 at Bloomsburg.

Ashley Rosindale (Bradford, England/Beckfoot School) scored the only goal of the day in the 18th minute on an assist from defender Andrew Clemens (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Cliff).

For the potential All-American Rosindale, it was his 7th goal of the season.

Redshirt-Senior Matt Deming (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine Richland) made three saves in the contest for his first shutout of the season.

Lock Haven now has only two contests left on the season, both of which are at home against two of the conferences top teams, Slippery Rock on Wednesday and East Stroudsburg on Saturday.

Coming into today, both upcoming opponents rank #1 and #2 in the conference.

Lock Haven fell to Slippery Rock earlier in the year 1-0, and to East Stroudsburg 3-1, both on the road.

Kickoff for Wednesday’s contest is slated for 1 p.m. on McCollum Field. Come on out and support your Bald Eagles as they look to solidify a home playoff spot for the second straight season.
