LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven University men’s soccer team (12-6, 11-5 PSAC) is set to host Millersville University (11-7-1, 10-5-1 PSAC) tomorrow at 1 p.m. in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) semifinal action on historic McCollum Field.

Heading into tomorrow’s match up LHU is ranked second in the PSAC, while MU is the third seed. Number one ranked East Stroudsburg University (17-2-1, 14-2 PSAC) will also be in action tomorrow as the PSAC’s regular season champions play host to fourth-seed West Chester University (9-9, 9-7 PSAC).

Tomorrow the Bald Eagles begin their quest for their 21st PSAC title as they already own a conference-best 20 championships.

Last year LHU fell in the conference title game 1-0 to ESU and enter the playoffs with a 12-6 overall and 11-5 PSAC record.

Pacing the Bald Eagles offensively heading into the post-season is Ashely Rosindale, who leads the conference with 1.76 points per game (10 goals, 10 assists), and gets support from Paul Huckett (7 goals, 10 assists) and rookie Martin Pletz (6 goals, 1 assist).

LHU goalkeeper Chad Feerrar carries a 1.20 GAA, fourth among league players.

Millersville returns to the PSAC playoffs for the first time since 2004 when it lost an opening round game at Lock Haven. The Marauders are looking for their first-ever PSAC title in the sport. Most of their scoring has come from Sean McLaughlin (9 goals, 7 assists), Ryan Kiley (7 goals, 2 assists) and Kyle Loughlin (4 goals, 4 assists). Matt Langione mans the net, owning a 1.52 GAA.

The two squads have met twice this season with the Bald Eagles coming out on top both teams. LHU took the first meeting of the year 3-2 on the road in overtime before shutting out MU 4-0 at home back on Oct. 18.
