Sophomore Ryan Gibble (middle) was named to the PSAC West's Second Team Offense for his efforts this year on the gridiron.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Sophomore offensive guard Ryan Gibble (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) of the Lock Haven University football team was named to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division Second Team.

Gibble, from his left guard position has been a two year starter on the line and is considered by some to be one of the best guards in the league.

With the help of Gibble’s expertise on the line, the Haven rushed for 934 yards on the season which is the highest rushing total in Gibble’s two seasons on campus.

The sophomore also helped out an LHU aerial attack that amassed 1169 yards on the season.

LHU wrapped up the 2007 campaign with a victory over Clarion on Saturday, November 10 by a 17-14 score in overtime.
