Rosindale earns All-American honors

Senior Ashley Rosindale helped lead the Bald Eagles this season and was awarded for his efforts by being named an All-American.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Senior Ashley Rosindale (Bradford, England/Beckfoot School) of the Lock Haven University men’s soccer team has been named to the 2007 Daktronics NCAA Division II Men’s Soccer All-American Second Team for his efforts in leading the Bald Eagles this season.

This honor comes after Rosindale most recently earned a spot on the Daktronics NCAA Division II Northeast Region First-Team squad for the fourth time in his illustrious career.

This season he led the team in every major offensive category including goals, assists and total points. He netted a team-high 10 goals to go along with 14 assists, good for 34 points.

Rosindale’s 10 goals on the year give him 46 in his career, which ranks him fourth all-time in Lock Haven history.

His 14 assists on the season give him a career total of 31, which put him second behind Lock Haven greats Mark Waite and Mark Ford.

The Bradford England native’s 34 points on the season runs his career total to 123, which also ranks him fourth all-time in the LHU record books.

Rosindale is the first 100 point scorer since Steve Slack accomplished the feat in 1997.

Rosindale was a four-time All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) selection and earned conference rookie of the year honors during his freshman campaign.

With this honor, Rosindale solidifies himself as one of the Bald Eagles best players to come through LHU in the last decade.
