LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Preseason honorable mention All-American Billy Arre continues to pick up the hardware as he was named this week’s Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Division athlete of the week.

This is the first time this season Arre has been named the West division’s best player for his performance on the court.

Arre received the honor for his outstanding work dating back to the Main Street Classic on December 29 and 30 and coming through this past weekend’s contests.

In the four games taken into consideration for the honor, Arre averaged 24 points a night and six boards, while scoring a season high 30 points in an LHU loss to then #19 ranked West Liberty State College.

Arre was named last season’s West division player of the year.

Arre and the Bald Eagles are next back in action on January 12, 2008 they travel to Cheyney University for their final cross conference game of the season.
