MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven University swim team is currently sitting in ninth place after session three at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships, which are taking place at Cumberland Valley High School.

LHU head coach Andy Waeger was quite pleased with his team’s progress thus far and feels that tomorrow should be another strong day for the squad.

One highlight of the day was freshman Amanda Terray (Coaldale, Pa./Panther Valley), who hit a NCAA “B” cut time in the 50 freestyle. Her time of 24.63 sets her up to compete in three events at the NCAA Division II National Championships.

In the finals she swam 24.65 which placed her seventh overall.
