LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Sophomore Randy Sylvia (Johnstown, Pa./Richland) of the Lock Haven University men’s track and field team has been named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Field Athlete of the Week for his recent efforts inside the throwing circle.

Competing at the Marc Deneault Invitational hosted by Cornell University Sylvia took third in the weight throw breaking the LHU school record for the second consecutive weekend.

His mark of 56-3 is the second-best by a conference athlete to date heading into this weekend's Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship meet.
