Fittery received an EWL wild card bit to the NCAA championships.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Matt Fittery (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) of the Lock Haven University wrestling team received an Eastern Wrestling League (EWL) wild card bid to the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships.

The redshirt-junior will compete at the incredibly talented and deep 149 weight class.

Fittery joins freshman Billy Ashnault (South Plainfield, N.J./South Plainfield) and redshirt-junior Ben Hepburn (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock), who both qualified for nationals by way of their second-place finishes as the EWL championships.

The trio will be action on Thursday March 20 at the NCAA Division I National Championships in St. Louis, MO. The National Championships run from March 20-22.
