#5 Lady Eagles soar past SRU, extend win streak to five games
 

Jessica Blickenstaff had a game-high 11 points today.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Junior Jessica Blickenstaff (Thurmont, Md./Catoctin) had a game high 11 points to lead the No. 5 Lock Haven University lacrosse team (8-2, 6-1 PSAC) as the Lady Eagles soared past Slippery Rock University (0-11, 0-9 PSAC) 22-3 at home on Charlotte Smith field today.

With the win the Haven extend its win streak to five games and improved to 8-2 overall and 6-1 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) conference.

The Lady Eagles led 12-2 at the half and completely shutdown The Rock in the second as they outscored their opponents 10-1.

Blickenstaff had four goals and assisted seven others.

Sophomore Leigh Titus (Towaco, N.J./Montville) scored a game-high five goals and added one assist for a six point afternoon.

Amber Hoch (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton Area) had a five point afternoon as she netted the hat trick and help set up two other LHU tallies with helpers.

Rookie Ashley Redding (Ocean City, Md./Stephen Decatur) had a goal and an assist marking the first points of her Lady Eagle career.

The Lady Eagles are back in action on Thursday night (April 10) when they play host to Indiana (Pa.) University at 7 p.m.
