EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The No. 5 Lock Haven University lacrosse team (10-2, 8-1 PSAC) downed East Stroudsburg University (7-5, 5-5 PSAC) 15-9 on the road today in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action.
Junior Jessica Blickenstaff (Thurmont, Md./Catoctin) scored a game-high five goals to lead the Lady Eagles in the win. She also chipped in two assists for a seven-point afternoon.
Amber Hoch (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton Area) and Kari Sielski (Jackson, N.J./Jackson Memorial) both netted hat tricks for LHU. Hoch also added three assists.
Leigh Titus (Towaco, N.J./Montville) and Rachael Williams (Gettysburg, Pa./Catoctin) each tallied two goals for Lock Haven.
Haven goalie Kira Nuttall (Towson, Md./Loch Raven) made 11 saves as she improved to 10-2 on the year.
With the win LHU extended its win streak to seven games.
The Lady Eagles are back in action on Wednesday, April 16 at 4 p.m. when they play host to No. 4 ranked and arch-rival West Chester University.
