LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Lock Haven University baseball team (12-24, 2-8 PSAC) lost both games of a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) doubleheader today at Slippery Rock University (17-13, 6-4).
SRU took game one 9-3 and LHU fell in game two 10-4.
In game one the Haven’s three runs came off four hits while in game two the Bald Eagles got their four runs on six hits as the Lock Haven bats struggled today.
In game two sophomore pitcher Bobby Fiala (Pembroke Pines, Fla./Everglades) went five innings. He gave up eight hits and allowed seven runs, all of which were earned. He walked four and struck out five.
The Bald Eagles are back in action tomorrow at 1 p.m. when they play host to Slippery Rock at Foundation Field.
