LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Traditionally the Crimson and White game gives Bald Eagle football fans an opportunity to take a sneak peek at the 2008 version of the LHU football team, but this year will be different and much more personal.

Head Coach John Klacik and his staff have a full weekend on tap to get former Bald Eagle players as well as the fans an opportunity to join the LHU football family in an event that is the first of its kind for Haven football.

The 2008 LHU Football Alumni and Friends Reunion is a chance for friends, family and fans of the Bald Eagle football squad to meet and discuss LHU football in a series of exciting events that will take place during the first weekend of May.

A series of seven events are slated to take place on May 2 and 3 for people of all ages.

The weekend will kick off with football alumna coming to town for a social on Friday evening and ending with a wings social at FOE 9258 in Downtown Lock Haven on Saturday evening.

Starting at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday morning the Bald Eagle coaching staff and players will be conducting their annual Robert Perry Youth Football Camp for future Bald Eagle football players.

For young kids aged 7 through 12 years old, the Dr. Robert Perry Memorial Youth Camp will take place from 8:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Central Mountain Middle School. Registration for the event begins at 7:30 a.m on Saturday the third.

Following the youth camp, the Bald Eagle Extra Point Club will have a luncheon and then will take to the greens with the public for an afternoon of pitch and putt at the Clinton Country Club, with all proceeds from the event benefitting the LHU football team.

To wind down the evening there will be a BBQ social at Tailgate Park, with a touch football game to follow as Hubert Jack Stadium will see its’ final snaps before the turf gets torn up and replaced with a state of the art playing field.
