Kari Sielski earned National Rookie of the Week honors for her recent efforts.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Freshman Kari Sielski (Jackson, N.J./Jackson Memorial) of the No. 5 Lock Haven University lacrosse team has been named Women’sLacrosse.com Division II National Rookie of the Week for her recent efforts in helping the Lady Eagles to a 3-0 week last week.
Junior Jessica Blickenstaff (Thurmont, Md./Catoctin), who was named Women’sLacrosse.com National Player of the Week last week, earned a spot on their honor roll this week.
In the Lady Eagles three wins last week Sielski had six goals and four assists. Her best effort of the week came in a 15-9 win over East Stroudsburg University. Sielski netted three goals and dished out one assist for a four-point game.
Blickenstaff had a team-high 24 points in the three wins last week. She scored 13 goals and assisted 11 others.
The Lady Eagles are back in action this afternoon at 4 p.m. when they play host to No. 4 West Chester in the much anticipated Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup.
