LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Sophomore hurler Bobby Fiala(Pembroke Pines, Fla./Everglades) of the Lock Haven University baseball team has been named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division Pitcher of the Week for his recent efforts on the mound, the conference office announced today.

In an 18-1 win over Clarion on Saturday, the Bald Eagle bats weren’t the only story as Fiala pitched a gem for the Haven.

Fiala pitched a complete game two-hitter, striking out nine. He gave up just the one run on the two hits and allowed only two walks.

The Bald Eagles are back in action tomorrow at 1 p.m. when they travel to East Stroudsburg for PSAC crossover action.
