EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven University baseball team (16-30) split a doubleheader with East Stroudsburg University (19-25) today on the road in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) crossover action.
The Bald Eagles took game one 5-4, scoring their five runs on six hits.
Leading the way at the plate was Zach Schuler (Mt. Wolf, Pa./Spring Grove) and Tim Bremen (Effort, Pa./Sussex County C.C.), who were both 2-for-4. Schuler had two RBI and scored two runs while Bremen scored once.
Jordon Yohn (Three Springs, Pa./Southern Huntington) picked up the win after working 6-1/3 innings. He gave up four runs on nine hits, walked two and struck out three.
LHU lost game two 9-5.
Evan Petro (Johnstown, Pa./Richland) was 3-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored.
The Bald Eagles are back in action on Friday, April 25 at 1 p.m. when they play host to Shippensburg University in PSAC Western Division action. Friday’s doubleheader marks the last home series for the Haven.
