Ben Hepburn, a 2008 National Qualifier is one of four Bald Eagles competing in Europe.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Four members of the Lock Haven University wrestling team are currently overseas taking part in a National Collegiate Wrestling Association (NCWA) International Wrestling Tour with stops in Bulgaria and Macedonia.

Representing the Bald Eagles in Europe is freshman Luke Lanno (Manahawkin, N.J./Southern Regional) and Dan Craig (Paw Paw, Mich./Allegan) along with juniors and 2008 NCAA Division I National Qualifiers Matt Fittery (Denver, Pa./ Cocalico) and Ben Hepburn (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock).

Also joining the foursome of LHU athletes will be coach Terry Fike, who is an assistant with the men’s program as well as the head coach of the newly formed Lady Eagles wrestling program.

Along with their stays in Bulgaria and Macedonia, they will also spend a night in Paris.

In Bulgaria the wrestlers will go through several training sessions while also competing in a few very tough dual meets before heading to Macedonia for the Pearl of Macedonia International Wrestling Tournament.
