COLUMBUS, Ohio – This past weekend at Ohio State University freshman track and field standout Alaina Leonard (Dillsburg Pa/ Northern) of Lock Haven University women’s track and field team placed 14th in the hammer throw at the United State Junior Nationals.

Leonard competed against some of the best throwers and athletes in the whole country, and wrapped up a very solid freshman year with this strong showing.

Leonard threw the hammer 144-11 while gaining tremendous experience for the future.
