LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – For the second time this season Stacey Borgia (Factoryville, Pa./Lackawanna Trail) of the Lock Haven University volleyball team has been named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Player of the Week for her recent efforts in leading the Lady Eagles to 4-0 week.
Borgia, a senior middle hitter led the Lady Eagles to a 4-0 week, which included a win in The Haven’s PSAC East opener where LHU rolled past Kutztown 3-0.
She at 11 kills in that match and week-high 12 in a 3-0 win over Wilmington.
Over the four-match span Borgia had 39 kills (4.88 kills/game). She also contributed seven blocks.
This is the second such honor for Borgia and the Lady Eagles this season.
