LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Junior Christie Naumann of the Lock Haven University volleyball team has been named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Player of the Week for her efforts in helping the Lady Eagles to a 3-1 week last week.
This marks the first time this season Naumann has received the award.
The Lady Eagles enjoyed a very solid 3-1 week, thanks in large part to
Naumann as she led the team with 41 kills (10.25/match & and 2.93/game).
The junior outside-hitter also added a team-high 11 aces, while also contributing 21 digs in the four matches.
Naumann had 13 kills against both IUP and Edinboro in PSAC weekend crossover action.
In a 3-0 PSAC East win over East Stroudsburg, Naumann had four aces to help the Lady Eagles improve to a perfect 5-0 in the conference.
This marks the fourth time this season a Lady Eagle has earned PSAC East Player of the Week honors.
