LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Junior Christie Naumann (Charters Towers, Australia/Gladstone) of the Lock Haven University volleyball team has been named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Player of the Week for her recent record-breaking efforts in leading The Haven on the court.

The Lady Eagles went 2-0 last week with two 3-0 wins over Cheyney helping LHU improve to a perfect 7-0 in conference play.

LHU’s serving was key in the two matches as The Haven racked up 58 aces.

In the first of two meetings last week, Naumann had a match-high 16 aces, marking a LHU three-game school record.

Naumann also hit an impressive .857 over the two matches.

This is the second such honor for Naumann this year and marks the fifth time this season that a Lady Eagle player has taken home this award.
