LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Eric Brennan (Chester, Pa./ West Cathloic - Philadelphia) of the Lock Haven University men’s basketball team has been named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Freshman of the Week for his recent efforts on the hardwood.
Brennan had a monster game for Lock Haven, despite a one-point loss, where the Bald Eagles were edged 76-75 by Shippensburg.
The freshman-forward scored a career-high 24 points, leading all scorers in the PSAC thriller.
Brennan also grabbed a game-high six rebounds. He shot 75 percent from the field and made his only three-point attempt. Brennan was 5-for-8 from the free-throw stripe and dished out three assists.
This is the first such honor for Brennan and the Bald Eagles in ’08.
Brennan and his teammates return to the court on Monday, Dec. 29 at 7 p.m. when they travel to Division I Youngstown State.
