LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men’s basketball team (2-8) lost this afternoon to Mansfield University (5-4) 82-64 in Thomas Fieldhouse in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Crossover action.
The Bald Eagles were led by two players, who flirted with the double-double.
Warren Christian (Baltimore, Md./Catonsville C.C.) had a game-high 16 points and eight boards in the loss.
Senior Billy Arre (Pittsburgh/Thomas Jefferson) netted 15 points and snagged eight rebounds for the Bald Eagles. He also had two steals in the contest.
Guard Andres Carpio (Beacon NY./Beacon) helped Lock Haven at both ends of the floor by scoring eight points and forcing two steals.
Ryan Callahan led all scorers, knocking down 21 points to pace Mansfield.
The Bald Eagles return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 7 when they travel to West Chester University for a 7 p.m. contest.
