KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women’s basketball team (3-10) lost to Kutztown University (10-3) 77-72 today at KU.
The Lady Eagles led 32-27 at halftime, but with 11:56 left to play in the second half Kutztown took the lead and never looked back.
KU outscored LHU 50-40 in the second.
The Lady Eagles shot 42 percent for the contest and were led by three players in double figures.
Leading the way for The Haven was rookie Sharay Hall (Philadelphia/Carver), who pulled in a double-double. Hall netted 10 points to go along with a team-high 10 rebounds.
Casi Donelan (Fairfax, Va./Goldey-Beacom) led the Lady Eagles with a team-high 19 points, while Lauren Kelshaw (Weatherly, Pa./Weatherly) added 15 to help pace The Haven.
Kelshaw added seven rebounds.
Lock Haven returns to action on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 5:30 when they take on Edinboro University to kick off Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division play.
