ERIE, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women’s basketball team (3-16, 0-6 PSAC West) was defeated 91-57 by Gannon University (16-3, 4-2 PSAC West) this afternoon on the road in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action.
The Lady Eagles had three players score in double figures in the contest.
Senior Lauren Kelshaw (Weatherly, Pa./Weatherly) led all Lady Eagle scorers with a team-high 14 points. She also forced two steals and dished out three assists.
Katie Kendall (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) added 13 points for LHU.
Guard Sharay Hall (Philadelphia/Carver) hit 4-of-6 from the floor and was a 2-for-2 from the free-throw line to add 12 points. Hall also forced two steals.
Three players also scored in double figures for Gannon to help them to the big win at home.
The Knights were led by Carrie Nolan and her game-high 18 points.
The Lady Eagles return to action on the road against Clarion University in PSAC West action on Wednesday, Feb. 4. The contest is scheduled for a 6 p.m. tipoff.
