CLARION, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women’s basketball team (3-17, 0-7 PSAC West) lost to Clarion University (9-11, 3-4 PSAC West) 87-76 on the road tonight in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action.
The Lady Eagles were led by four different players, who scored in double figures.
Leading the way was senior Lauren Kelshaw (Weatherly, Pa./Weatherly), who netted a game-high 25 points. The Haven’s leading scorer also grabbed six rebounds and dished out a trio of assists.
Katie Kendall (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) was solid for LHU with 13 points, which included a trio of three-pointers.
Casi Donelan (Fairfax, Va./Goldey-Beacom) and Sharay Hall (Philadelphia/Northeast) added 12 and 11 points, respectively.
Hall also pulled down seven rebounds, while Donelan had six and three helpers.
Malika Miller (Scranton, Pa./Scranton) contributed seven points to go along with six assists and four rebounds.
Clarion shot 47 percent from the field on the night and was led by five players in double figures.
The Lady Eagles are back in action at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7 when they play host to Edinboro University in PSAC West action.
