Bald Eagles edged by Clarion 66-60 in conference action
 

CLARION, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men’s basketball team (3-17, 1-6 PSAC West) was edged on the road at Clarion University (10-10, 1-6 PSAC West) 66-60 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action.

LHU trailed 30-24 at halftime and shot 42 percent from the field for the game.

Despite three different players in double figures, the Bald Eagles couldn’t steal the win in the second half on the road.

Clarion was led by three different players in double figures and the Golden Eagles shot 49 percent for the game.

Leading the way for The Haven was junior Warren Christian (Baltimore/Catonsville C.C.), who scored 19 points to go along with six rebounds. He also had two assists, two blocks and two steals.

Senior Billy Arre (Pittsburgh/Thomas Jefferson) and freshman Eric Brennan (Chester, Pa./West Catholic – Philadelphia) each scored 17 points.

Arre also added seven boards while Brennan chipped in with six.

The Bald Eagles will be back in action on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 3 p.m. when they play host to Edinboro in a PSAC West tilt.
