LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women’s basketball team (3-19, 0-9 PSAC West) was defeated by No. 11 Indiana (Pa.) University (19-3, 8-1 PSAC West) 79-40 inside Thomas Fieldhouse tonight in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division contest.
The Lady Eagles were led offensively by freshman Heather McHugh (Norristown, Pa./Norristown) and her team-high 11 points.
McHugh hit 3-of-6 from long range. She also grabbed three rebounds and added one assist.
Guard Casi Donelan (Fairfax, Va./Goldey-Beacom) closed in on a double-double with nine points and a team-high seven rebounds. She also had four assists.
Senior Lauren Kelshaw (Weatherly, Pa./Weatherly) added six points and snagged three boards for the Lady Eagles.
IUP had two players in double-figures, which led them to the important road victory.
The Crimson Hawks were lead by Jahzinga Tracy and her game-high 31 points. She also added nine rebounds.
The Lady Eagles return to action on Saturday, Feb. 14 when they travel to California (Pa.) University for PSAC West action. The contest is scheduled for a 3 p.m. tipoff.
