LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women’s basketball team (3-24, 0-14 PSAC West) dropped its season finale to No. 24 Gannon University (24-3, 12-2 PSAC West) 78-48 this afternoon in Thomas Fieldhouse in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division action.
Senior Lauren Kelshaw (Weatherly, Pa./Weatherly) closed out her Lady Eagle career in strong fashion with a team-high 13 points.
Kelshaw also grabbed four rebounds.
Fellow senior Evelyn Wynn (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg), much like Kelshaw capped off her crimson and white career with a solid outing. She grabbed five rebounds and added four points.
Milan Dry (Baltimore/Dunbar) chipped in with eight points and seven rebounds as she proved to be a key today for LHU.
Freshmen Heather McHugh (Norristown, Pa./Norristown Area) and Peaches Nesmith (Philadelphia/Northeast) both netted five points.
McHugh also pulled down six rebounds.
Casi Donelan (Fairfax, Va./Goldey-Beacom) knocked down six points and added six assists for The Haven.
Gannon was led by four different players, whom scored in double figures including a game-high 20 points from Kim Vargas.
The Lady Eagles trailed by 16 at halftime, down 39-23.
