LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The offense was rolling once again for the No. 5 Lock Haven University lacrosse team (7-1, 3-0 PSAC West) as the Lady Eagles cruised past visiting Slippery Rock University (2-5, 03 PSAC West) 19-3 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division action

Allison Berger (Oreland, Pa./Springfield) put Lock Haven up early, as she netted the game’s first goal less than a minute in.

From there it was all Lock Haven, as LHU rallied off nine straight goals to take a commanding 12-1 lead.

The Rock got one back before halftime, but Lock Haven still held the 10-goal advantage.

Hoch and Johnson both recorded a game-high seven points.

Hoch scored five goals and set up two others while Johnson scored three goals and dished out four assists as the duo proved to be The Haven’s biggest offensive playmakers in the win.

The Lady Eagles spread it around once again, as eight different faces netted goals in the game.

Berger, who opened the scoring in the first minute finished with two goals.

Lock Haven got solid play from goalkeeper Heather Sacko (Fairport, Pa./Fairport), who made eight saves, including several spectacular ones on SRU free-position attempts.

Kathleen Zichelli (South Orange, N.J./Columbia) was tremendous for Lock Haven on defense and turned in an all-around solid effort. She snagged eight ground balls, grabbed four draw controls and caused a game-high seven turnovers.
