LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Freshman Kayleigh Johnson (Fairport, N.Y./Faiport) of the No. 5 Lock Haven University lacrosse team has been named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division Player of the Week for her recent efforts in leading the Lady Eagles.
Last week The Haven went 2-0 and Johnson was a huge reason why, as she led the team with 14 points.
It also marks the second consecutive week, where a Lady Eagle has taken home PSAC West Player of the Week honors. Junior Leigh Titus (Towaco, N.J./Montville) won the award a week ago.
Johnson led LHU to an important 2-0 week, where the Lady Eagles downed IUP and Bloomsburg on the road.
