LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The 2009 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men’s Soccer Preseason Coaches Poll has been released and the Bald Eagles have been picked to finish fifth in the Western Division.

The Bald Eagles were 11-6-3 overall and 3-3-2 in PSAC West play during the 2008 season.

LHU head coach Doug Moore and his team began preseason training early this week as the Bald Eagles prepare for the upcoming season.

Listed below are the preseason PSAC men’s soccer coaches polls. First place votes are in parenthesis.

Western Division

1. Slippery Rock (3)

2. California

3. Gannon (1)

4. Mercyhurst (1)

5. Lock Haven

Eastern Division

1. East Stroudsburg (3)

2. Millersville (2)

3. West Chester

4. Bloomsburg

5. Shippensburg
