LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University wrestling program is set to host the 2009 Lock Haven Fall Classic.

The tournament will take place on Saturday and Sunday, October 10-11. Wrestling begins at 10:30 a.m. on both days in Lock Haven Thomas Fieldhouse.

Action is open to everyone up to and including high school seniors.

Competitors will be broke into six divisions (listed below).

Divisions:

Bantam – 8 years old and younger

Midget – Ages 9-10

Cadet – Ages 11-12 (no 7th graders allowed)

Junior High School – grades 7-8

Intermediate – grades 9-10

Senior High School – grades 11-12

All divisions except senior high school will wrestle on Saturday, October 10, only.

The senior high school division will wrestle on Sunday, October 11, only.

Entry fee: Pre-registration entry fee is $ 35 per participant (single entry). All applications must be received no later than Monday, October 5, 2009. Participants may wrestle in two divisions as long as they are eligible, but they cannot wrestle two different weight classes in the same division. Double entry fee is $50 (different division only). Walk on entry fee is $45 per participant (single entry) and $60 per participant (double entry – different division only).
