LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men’s soccer team (4-7-2) was edged by longtime rival East Stroudsburg University (6-6-1) 1-0 today at Hubert Jack Stadium.
ESU scored the match’s only goal with just 15 seconds left in regulation of the hard-fought non-conference battle.
Trevor Kelley headed home the game-winner in the 90th minute for the Warriors.
Lock Haven created plenty of chances to score, including several near misses in the last 10 minutes of play.
LHU goalkeeper Chad Badorf (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) made three saves in the loss.
Greg Shertzer (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest) led The Haven with two shots in the game.
The Bald Eagles are back in action on Monday, October 12 at 4 p.m. on the road at Lake Erie College.
