LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Rookie running back Ibrahim Smith (New Bloomfield/West Perry) of the Lock Haven University football team was named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in leading the Bald Eagles to victory this past weekend.
LHU edged Clarion University 17-14 in overtime on the road in the final game of the season to avoid the Haven’s first winless season in 56 years.
Smith was a huge reason why as he accounted for both of the Bald Eagles touchdowns in the game. He carried the ball 22 times for career-high 139 yards.
