The Lady Eagles fell tonight in their opener.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven University women’s basketball team (1-2) dropped their home opener tonight 76-58 to visiting Wilmington University (3-0).
Junior Lauren Kelshaw (Weatherly, Pa./Weatherly) was a bright spot for LHU as she paced the Lady Eagles with a 15-point outing. She also grabbed four rebounds.
Marisa Elliot (Hagerstown, Md.Hagerstown C.C.) had a strong night netting 13 points to help contribute to the Haven’s offensive output. She also pulled in three boards and dished out a pair of assists.
Sophomore forward Kara Waltenbaugh (New Stanton, Pa./Hempfield) led the Lady Eagles with an eight-rebound effort while rookie Aiesha Smith (Philadelphia, Pa./Paul Robeson) wasn’t far behind with seven.
Kristin Kudrick (Harrison City, Pa./Penn Trafford) and Casi Donelan (Fairfax, Va./Goldey-Beacom College) scored eight and six points, respectively for LHU.
The Lady Eagles are back in action on Saturday, Nov. 24 at 2:00 p.m. when they travel to Seton Hill University for a non-conference showdown.
